Jacaranda Boulevard extension backed by Venice Council
Venice voters backed Sarasota County plans to extend Jacaranda Boulevard as an I 75 connector despite neighborhood opposition. The four to three vote supports the county’s plan to ease traffic on U S 41 Bypass and East Venice Avenue, with possible changes or cancellation still on the table.
