Englewood ambulance chief arrested on drug charge

Courtney V. Franklin Jr., 38, supervisor of the Englewood Ambulance Service, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance after buying more than the allowed amount. He is on unpaid leave as an HRS investigation restarts. Bonds set at 1575 dollars. Franklin previously served after a naval detail in Antarctica.
