Venice Florida anglers reel in mixed catches as shuttles loom
Tim Wooster and Jamie Boone of Nokomis fished Curry Creek with 25 mangrove and mutton snapper. Vic's Marker 10 yielded 10 flounder and 10 speckled trout aboard Lady Marion. Ted Smith of Sarasota reported a 9½ pound snook. North Jetty Camp recorded redfish, snook, and speckled trout while others logged multiple catches as a breezy, pleasant shore day wore on.
