Nokomis girl earns state second in fashion revue
Amy Thorland of 410 Rubens Dr Nokomis placed second in the adult division at the State Fair Fashion Revue at the Tampa fairgrounds. She won Sarasota County’s adult division and her own wool polyester outfit earned her participation certificates. Linda Ruehr aged 11 and Jayde Weeks aged 8 from Venice also competed in youth divisions. The State Fashion Revue was co sponsored by the Florida State Fair and Florida Cooperative Extension Service.
