South campus on hold? Manatee Junior seeks permanent site
Korcheck and Dale flew to Tallahassee with a signed contract for 50 acres in south county and an option on 50 more to back a southern branch campus. They push for a $6.2 million statewide appropriation, aiming a 50,000 square foot complex with capacity around 750 full time equivalents by 1985, to coequal Bradenton Campus in acreage.
