South County YMCA battles back from brink to debt free
The South County YMCA faced foreclosure as six area banks prepared to seize its mortgage. A community driven campaign raised over 400 000 dollars led by Mr and Mrs Cameron K Reed with a 301 650 dollar donation, lifting the club out of debt and expanding. The center now reports 170 members last April to 1900 today and current mortgage payments.
