Venice bus tour and five year plan advance city projects
City Manager Dale Rieth reports on a July 23 employee bus tour, progress on Loran property turnover for a park, and good status of the 201 federal grant program and Lift Station 7. A five year capital improvement plan will be discussed in budget sessions as water conservation remains a priority amid a continued watering ban and modest recent reductions. A public hearing on federal revenue sharing is set for 7 p.m. prior to the council meeting.
