Henderson seeks reelection to Florida Senate from 25th District

Sen Warren S Henderson of Venice announces his candidacy for reelection to the Florida Senate. He has served since 1963, the longest tenure among Republicans and second-longest overall, representing Sarasota County and part of Charlotte County west of the Peace River. He sits on Natural Resources Commerce Governmental Operations Rules and Calendar and Finance and Taxation committees and is lauded as an environmental advocate by groups including the Natural Wildlife Federation Audubon Society International Oceanographic Foundation Florida Sierra Club and the Izaac Walton League.
