Nokomis students earn Safe Boating diplomas in ceremony
The Sea Gulls Auxiliary of the Venice Power Squadron awarded 113 Nokomis Elementary sixth graders Junior Boatsman Certificates after completing a Safe Boating course titled Make Sure Make Shore. Principal Barbara Needleman attended as graduates received arm patches and an ice cream bar while instructors and officials hosted the event.
