Venice Public Hearing on Manatees Seeks Local Evidence
Venice residents will speak at a Wednesday public hearing in City Hall about manatee presence in local waters. DNR officials from Tallahassee and partners from Orlando and the National Audubon Society will collect photographs and witness accounts to support posting waterways to slow boats and alert boaters.
