Gas Station Owner Slashes Gas Price To Protest Tax Hike
Tom Bonni, owner of Holiday Gulf near the Holiday Inn in Osprey, sells regular gas at 99.9 cents a gallon to protest Reagan's proposed 5 cent per gallon federal tax increase. He says tax money won't necessarily fund roads and aims to spur public reaction by prompting customers to contact their congressman.
