Sheriff launches Crime Watch with Venice firm aid

The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office starts a Crime Watch pilot aided by R L Anderson Air Conditioning of Venice. Seventeen company service men radio in sightings to a dispatcher who informs the sheriff. The program aims to expand to other firms after a 90 day evaluation.
