Stump Pass buoy work eyed amid shallow channel shifts
Ermish reports ongoing efforts with area shrimpers to move and adjust buoys at Stump Pass. Michael Stevens of Coastal Engineering Consultants says a channel survey is needed before red and black buoys are repositioned, with shoaling and natural shifts expected to require future maintenance.
