Plans for Venice Library expansion underway

Plans to add 5 800 square foot expansion to the Elsie Quirk Public Library on Coconut Street Englewood await approval. Sarasota County Commission has the working plans and specifications by Architect Richard Allen and funding steps include $200 000 federal revenue sharing and a $100 000 Marie Selby Foundation grant.
