Petition seeks third South County Ambulance station
A group led by Kermit Houck has gathered 2100 signatures urging a third South County Ambulance station at Laurel Road and U S 41. The plan aims to reduce response times for areas north to Blackburn Point Road and parts along I 75 and U S 41. The petition will be presented to the Sarasota County Ambulance Advisory Board on April 14 and later to county commissioners.
