Charles L. Davis of the National Bank received a telegram Sunday from Odon Illinois announcing that Robert Gilkerson was dangerously ill there and death was only a matter of a short time. Gilkerson formerly lived in Sullivan County and farmed west of the city. his son Uriah resides in Terre Haute.
