Prohibition era quips and a will from Jackson township
A column mixes satirical quips about Prohibition and social change with a probate notice. The will of the late Margaret L. Boston of Jackson township names executor William W. Woodrow and distributes 2 7 interests in the Lewis filing company to her grandsons Joseph and Jesse Boston and William Woodrow, plus 1 7 to James Woodrow. A $1000 gift goes to the Sugar Grove Presbyterian church, with the estate residue in trust for the Presbyterian foreign and home mission boards. The probate filing appears in the circuit court with details on land and residence.
