Puzzling Orthographic Gem Hits Spelling Contest
Jeffersonville May 20 a long sample of eccentric words appears to have been composed in London. A gluttonous sibyl and a glutinous hand seize a sieve while a phthisical ichneyman and a cynical sergeant vanish down a receptacle. A shrieking sheik and a complaisant proselyte join a procession of bizarre items. The scene ends with a parachute ride and a barouche synonym amid a terrified yeomanry.
