Trimmer Ben F. Blake Dies After Mine Car Accident
Ben F. Blake 52 a long time trimmer at the Dugger mine died after being run over by an empty mine car. He was riding for fun when he fell and the car passed over him sustaining fatal injuries. He leaves a wife and six children and resided on a farm five miles southwest of Dugger. His family cannot recover damages as he was not employed by the company at the time.

May Day Party At Parsonage Lawn

Death of Levi Dudley at Home
Levi Dudley died suddenly of heart failure at his South State Street home. He had been in fragile health for months and collapsed before aid could reach him. A carpenter by trade, he was the son of former county sheriff John Dudley. Funeral services will be held tomorrow from his residence conducted by Rev. Francis with the carpenters' union attending. interment will follow at Coffman Cemetery.

Malinda Evans Lister died April 24 1903 at her daughter Mrs Albert Hopewell home aged 74 years 3 months 16 days. She was born January 8 1829 in Pickaway County Ohio to Lemuel and Jane Evans and married Nimrod Lister March 17 1853 who died April 7 1888. Nine children were born, six survive James M and Charles Lister of Garnett Kansas Lemuel Lister Mrs Mary Crooks Mrs May Barnes Mrs Eliza Hopewell all of Sullivan. One sister Mrs Marida Morris of Garnett Kansas. She joined the M E church at age 13. Mrs P H Blue visited Evansville last week.
