Death of Carrithers Child From Fire Incident

The death occurred after a child of Roscoe Carrithers was fatally burned while playing with a broom on fire. The child died last Friday. the family includes Mrs. Carrithers, daughter of John W. Burnett near Providence Church in Turman township.

Danville Ill Press reports the deal is consumated with both railways under one management early in April. Trains from Chicago to Terre Haute would run to Evansville with through crews. A new Danville Evansville local would depart at 6 am and return by 10 am. Time card changes to include BE T H lines come April 6.

John McKinney Passes Away After Ill Health

John M McKinney formerly a Paxton resident died Sunday at Pimento after a long illness. He had returned from a prolonged trip to Montana about a year earlier and never recovered. He was buried yesterday in Paxton. The community notes his good character and mourns his loss.
