Miss Jessie James age eighteen a housemaid at Farmersburg Indiana died from severe burns after pouring gasoline into a stove thinking it was coal oil. She ignited flames that enveloped her clothing and she died at St Anthony hospital Terre Haute. Mrs Young was burned while trying to help. Remains were taken to Permarator for burial.
