Death of Noah Crawford after illness and remonstrances in county
Noah Crawford a well known citizen of Sullivan county died Tuesday morning after a six week illness from pyamia. He lived in Jackson township, moved to the city, and led a successful farming and business life. Survived by several children and siblings, funeral Thursday at the Presbyterian church with burial at Center Ridge. Three remonstrances were filed against liquor licenses in Hamilton township, with licenses granted after bonds, while appeals loom to circuit and supreme courts.
