Celia W Raley born November 21 1878 Crawford County Illinois died March 1 1902. She married E J Raley August 9 1899 and the couple had one son. Survived by husband son mother two sisters and many friends. Funeral at Christian church at 10 AM led by Rev A O Jacobs Merom Indiana with burial in Wilkin cemetery. Mr Raley is son of the late Wilson Raley.

Noah Evans Dead Ferryman of Hutsonville Dies at 73

Noah Evans a famed Hutsonville Illinois ferryman died Sunday after noon February 24 in his 74th year. Born near West York April 10, 1828 he was son of Benj Evans who came from North Carolina. He lived in Hutsonville about 40 years and ferried for 30 of those years known as a top Wabash ferryman alongside Jesse Plunkett of Merom.
