Pioneers Celebrate Golden Wedding Anniversary
The Jackson couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 15 at their Pleasantville area home. About ninety relatives attended a 60 foot meal under shade trees. a pie from the 50 year old fair plate was served. John H Jackson Sr. age 72 and his wife 65 were in good health, with 24 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. All their descendants present except a few due to a broken ankle and illness.
