Death of Mrs Benefield Longtime County Resident

Mrs Elizabeth Benefield aged 12 years died at her home in the city after a long life. She was the widow of Willis Benefield pioneer of the county and a lifelong Christian church member. Survived by Mrs Aesha Hill Albert Benefield and Commodore Benefield. Funeral at the Christian church Monday with Elder Miller officiating. Burial at Palmers Prairie.

Miss Flossie Willis of this city married Herbert Steele of Robinson Tuesday in Marshall Illinois. Steele is a traveling salesman and well known here. The bride is the daughter of Mr and Mrs William Willis of this city. They plan a southern wedding trip then return home.

Shelburn July 23 Mit Ford suffered a crushed foot and sprained ankle when rock fell at the Kettle Creek mine. He was at work when the rock struck his foot causing bruising and injury.

Mrs Hanna Munday Dies at 19 in Mammoth Home

Shelburn July 23 Mrs Hanna Munday wife of James Munday died Friday at her Mammoth home. Funeral was held at the Catholic church in Sullivan with interment at Little Flock. She was 19 and survived by her husband with no children.
