James S. Barnes directs Sullivan property owners to allow Jews of Indiana to cut grass and weed in front of premises from July 15 to August 31 each year. If ignored the town will do the work and add costs to the tax duplicate. Encourage residents to help keep Sullivan clean.
H K Ross leased his ice cream parlor on Monday to Fred Dutton. Ross will devote all his time to his printing office. Bert Overton operates a lunch counter in the store.
Miss Floy Armstrong of Farmers and Miss Lela Savidge of Eaton traveled through Farmersburg on their way to visit friends near Eaton Illinois.
Squire Cowley W E Cole of Carlisle was in the city yesterday and qualified as justice of the peace of Haddon township. He went home with his commission in his pocket and is now a full fledged Squire.
