Veterans of the 85th Indiana and Company H gathered in Sullivan for a two day reunion to remember Peach Tree Creek and the Civil War. Speakers included John C. Chaney Col Wr E McLean Will H. Hays and Col A B Crane with musical tributes and a campfire at Bass auditorium.

Death of a Centenarian Mrs Lucinda Jones 101
Mrs Lucinda Jones died Sunday at her daughter Mrs Filbert Fry's home about eight miles southeast of Hymera in Greene county. She was 101 years 10 months and 20 days old a native of Tennessee and had been married several times. She spent much of her life in Cass township and was mother of William Pigg of Buell now past 80.

Ual Mine Fatality in Cass
A rock fall at a small Cass township mine on Samuel Alumbaugh’s farm instantly killed Frank Alumbaugh aged 24 and Louis Guhrl aged 10 last Saturday about 9 o'clock. Guhrl, visiting Decatur residents, had been warned of danger yet entered the mine and was crushed alongside Alumbaugh. Alumbaugh burial occurred at Antioch, Guhrl’s body shipped to Decatur.

Maple and Kelly united in marriage in Shelburn
Dr. J. B. Maple and Miss Margaret Kelly were married Saturday evening at the bride’s mother's home on East Washington street. Rev. John E. Fry officiated. The ceremony was private with immediate family, followed by a four course supper. They will reside in Shelburn after a new home is finished. Dr. Maple, son of the late W. S. Maple, recently graduated from Rush Medical College. Miss Kelly is the daughter of Mrs. Francis Kelly and a popular local young woman.

Hilderbrand, a young local and son of Ed Hilderbrand, works with his father in the carriage business. Sinclair, daughter of A D Sinclair of Terre Haute, is well known in Sullivan.
