Mrs. James Haster, 26, was struck by lightning Monday afternoon while preparing supper at her Hymera residence. She died within half an hour. Survived by husband, a Hymera miner, and two children. Funeral held yesterday at 2 pm with burial at High Chapel cemetery.

Mrs Mahion Gustin died Monday at 10 30 am after a short illness. Born Rachel Turner she married Gustin July 2 1879 near Merom. Reared in Sullivan she leaves four children and her husband. The youngest is an infant born Friday June 28. Funeral held yesterday at the house by Rev Francis with interment at Center Ridge. The family thanks neighbors and friends for kindness.
