Gill township seeks court order to force Merom high school
Wilber J. Coyner, a Gill township taxpayer, files mandate suit in circuit court against the township advisory board for action to finance and erect a new high school at Merom. He cites Health Board orders and claims Merom’s old three room building is unsafe. The suit argues the township can raise funds with ten year bonds within limits and that delay would deprive children of school facilities.
