House Burns In Shelburne Fire

In Shelburns Hymera area a rock fall at about 730 am in the Willfred mine killed George Payton a loader aged 45. Man bound over in fatal well dispute murder case
John Wilson of Shelburn was bound over to the circuit court on $2,000 bond for the murder of Leonard Orr after a preliminary hearing. Orr was struck with a shovel during a yard dispute over a well, with Mrs. Orr and neighbors corroborating that Orr stood still as the blows were delivered.
