Man Found Dead on Farm Near Pleasantville
Isaac Gadberry, about 50, was found dead in an old fog house on Homer Creager's farm three miles northwest of Pleasantville Saturday morning. Creager discovered Gadberry around 9 am. he expired shortly after entering the cabin. Gadberry had been ill and was an object of charity.

Civil War Map by 13th Indiana Battery Member Found
Mrs. Warren Watson of Big Springs owns a Civil War relic, a Camp of the 13th Indiana Battery map at Fort Gallatin Tennessee drawn April 4 1864 by E A Nixon of the same company. The star shaped camp shows battery positions officers tents and neighboring companies. The map was given to Watson’s mother by her brother and later to Mrs Watson, created for her birth date. The artifact remains an excellent piece despite age and material.
