Girl Killed in Fall from Paxton Horse
Helen Ladson aged 14 of Paxton died after being thrown from a horse Sunday afternoon near the Christian church south of Paxton. The horse frightened and jumped as a girl attempted to sit on it during a photo session. She dislocated her neck and died within about 15 minutes. She was a Church of Christ member and daughter of the late Robertson Ladson. Her sister and aunts are named in the report.
