Damages Suit Venued to Knox County Over Railroad Death
The $2000 damage suit of George M. Pirtle against Carlisle saloon keeper William B. Shepherd was venued to Knox county for trial. Pirtle, father of 19 year old George Pirtle who was killed in Sullivan last August by a freight train, alleges Shepherd sold liquor to the boy and that Pirtle was intoxicated when he encountered goath on liquor sold at Shepherd's saloon.

Electrical Storm Causes Damage and Injuries in County

Roy received a souvenir card Wednesday and a Friday letter saying she enjoyed her visit and was regaining health. Since the disaster he has no word on her survival and must await results.
