Taft and Labor advocates for union rights in 1900s political record
A detailed defense of Secretary Taft's labor stance cites early speeches and court opinions to argue he favored organized labor and union rights. It traces 1895 remarks on wage gains, court roles in labor disputes, and Taft’s 1902 to 1908 positions supporting unions, injunctive reforms, and safety protections for workers, asserting a consistent pro labor record.
