Newcomerstown Man Dies in Train Accident
Fred Myers, 30, of Newcomerstown, was torn to pieces by Panhandle train No. 13 on Saturday night. A mail clerk heard a thud and pulled the emergency cord. The body parts were found along the track, with the head reportedly torn from the body. Myers left a wife in Comite and was taken there for burial.
