Electrician Dies Of Burns From Redirected Wires
David Armour of Wellsburg Illinois died from severe burns after contacting high voltage wires at the La Belle Iron Works coke plant north of Follett. Armour, an inspector for Wellsburg Electric company, was inspecting wires when a blinding flash struck, throwing him to the ground and igniting his clothing. He succumbed at Ohio Valley hospital after twenty four hours of agony. funeral services are planned for Wellsburg Wednesday.
