Ohio fish and game license bill for hunters and nonresidents
The Ohio Fish and Game Commission prepared a hunter license bill to fund enforcement and conservation. Residents hunting off their land would need a $1 annual license, carried on the person. nonresidents pay $15. The license funds go to the state treasury for protecting birds, fish, and game, and the measure aims to record licensed hunters, reduce landowner burden, and target violators while not restricting overall hunting.

Wabash Road Plans New Pittsburg to Chicago Link
The Wabash road declares plans to build a connecting line from Pittsburg to Chicago with priority over a Pittsburg Atlantic seaboard link. The Pittsburg Junction to Norwalk route is flawed by heavy gradients and sharp curves. The Chicago junction to Pittsburg line is also crooked with heavy grades, wasting time on freight moves. The 123 mile route could be improved at lower cost than mountain linking efforts.
