J N Semple aged about 82 was struck by street car No to last Thursday evening around 5 30 and died an hour later at the home of his son in law James Williams His funeral was held Saturday forenoon He left a son Carl in California and four daughters Mrs James Williams Middleport Mrs James Laughead Des Moines Iowa Miss Maud Chicago and Miss Ide M Long Beach California
