Ex-Servicemen to Receive Diplomas at Commencement
Twenty four ex servicemen completed United States Armed Forces Institute Tests at Sterling Township High School under guidance instructor Miss Mildred Krughoff. Passing the five high school level tests qualifies them for college entrance. The group includes Dick tt, Paul Wallingford, Irvin E. Nelson, Lawrence Mundt, Kenneth Melvin, and others. They will receive their high school diplomas at the Tuesday June 4 commencement.

The 1946 class baccalaureate will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church on Sunday June 2 at 8 00 p m Dr Alfred Grewe of St John's will deliver the address assisted by Sterling ministers The Robed Choir of 8 H 8 will sing and the seniors will wear caps and gowns Dr Grewe is the father of graduate Carmen Grewe

S H S Maintains Accedited Status With North Central A S C S
Superintendent Roscoe Eades announced on Monday April 29 that S H S has been placed again on the accredited list of the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. The action followed the Chicago meeting of March 25 30 1946. The school has been on the accredited list since 1906.
