Junior-Senior Prom Climaxed Social Season
The annual junior-senior prom on May 6 at the coliseum featured a Holland theme with windmill scenery, green tulips, and a windmill stage element. Maurie Rickman’s 11 piece orchestra provided music from 8:30 to 12, with a 16 performer floor show and MC Randall Barnett entertaining remarks. Speech Club Holds Mock Radio Program

Students Present Music And Debate For Church
A spring event at Fourth Street Methodist Church featured music and a formal debate by Woman's Society of Christian Service participants on whether the United States should join the League of Nations. The Spanish Club invites the public to a book review next Monday at 7 30 in the high school gym. Mrs Frank Yuill of Rockford will review Liberty Street about refugees waiting in South America to enter the United States. She will bring four Byron girls to dance La Cucuracha.
