Roswitha Wandke receives 1967 class ring memento. three Sterling students assisted in the March 7 broadcast on WSHS TV.
Dr. Nicholas Nyeradi refutes professor Linstromberg's attributed views on the Vietnam War and says he forwarded the letter to the White House. He clarifies he did not vote for Lyndon B. Johnson in 1964 and targets the president as architect of policy.
Debaters qualify the annual beginners tournament to be run by the HS varsity team. Each school will bring a novice team and a varsity debater to judge. coaches are drivers. Public invited. starts 9:00. Novice debaters Pam Steeley Gary Foust John Cross Randall Ricklefa Jan Elfline Harry Harper will enter two more contests this year, including March 1 and March 18 at Rockford Guilford.
