Limbs and Feet at Band Concert Spark Laughs
A group of teen girls attracted attention at a band concert for their varied walking styles and shoe removal on stairs. The observer notes one leader’s modellike pose, others with stiff legs, pigeon toes, or heel walking. After seating, twelve shoes sat empty, a chair collapsed, and the audience’s focus shifted from music to amusement. Kay Bivin and Pat Frey plan travel to Moline Institute of Commerce, while many senior boys near service enlistments are listed. Several senior girls have nursing school acceptances at Saint Lukes, Freeport Memorial, Bloomington Memorial, Rockford, Swedish American, Harrisburg Practical Nursing, and more.
