Fourth Annual Sno-Ball Formal Held Dec 27
The fourth annual Sno-Ball formal sponsored by the YM-YW Co-Ed Council took place in Central School gym on Thursday December 27 with about 200 Sterling High students and alumni in attendance. Pat Batcheller was crowned 1951 Sno-Ball Queen by head judge W B Wetzel, attended by Ann Lahman and Ann Farrer.

Debating Team Gears Up For Northern Illinois Invitational

Dramatic Club Advances in School Contest Circuit
The Dramatic Club outlines its path through a multi-stage contest starting with tryouts January 22 23 at SHS led by Miss Larson. Eight divisions feed the N C I C Geneseo meet February 23 then the Regional on March 8 with finals April 18 19 at Champaign. March of Dimes Campaign by Junior Red Cross
At the Isat meeting of the Junior Red Cross board the group took on the March of Dimes drive from January 14 to 16. Each homeroom filled a shoe outline with eighteen dimes and handed the money to the homeroom representative then to Jean Bloomquist the treasurer. A voluntary drive to aid Fred Sinroll raised 146.38 dollars with donors noting his surprise and appreciation.

Sterling Township Band Plans Winter Concert Tribute to Lincoln
The Sterling Township High School Band directed by Mr. Dunhan performs its annual winter concert on Tuesday February 12 at 8 00 p m in the new field house in formal dress. Pat Batcheller is the clarinet soloist with Mary Lou Oglevee as accompanist.
