Girls Pay All Bills Sock Shuffle Dance at High School
The annual GAA dance Sock Shuffle was held April 4 in the high school gym as a WPA event with girls paying all costs. The gym featured sock themed decorations, a floor show starting at 10 PM, and prizes for best vegetable corsage. Maurice Mintke's orchestra provided music from 8:30 to 11:30 with Lola Nelson as radio announcer and Jo Cole winning a corsage prize.
