Modular Scheduling Proposed by Diane Gauthier
Modular scheduling would split the school day into 7 to 9 hours divided into 15 to 20 minute mods. Students in small schools could choose times and days for classes, while larger schools would select courses via computer. Some days could feature many short classes, and others allow early dismissal, with slow learners or compulsory students less suited. It may reduce open campus issues but needs funding and more teachers, delaying SHS adoption for years.
