New Church Dedication Marks Great Day in Steele City
The Steele City church celebrates a new dedication with sermons from Dr. Pressly Dr. Dean and Dr. Knever praising the temple as a future comfort to the sorrowful. Morning offerings reach 2650 and evening gifts total 3025 clearing local debt. A Reyn olds gospel team will lead Sunday night service September 18.

Banquet in New Basement at Local Church
The Fathers and Sons Banquet was held in the basement of the new church on Friday evening September 9. Ladies Aid served a two course dinner at 7 o’clock. Young ladies dressed in white acted as waitresses. Program included songs solos by R. S. Wilfley Fay Clark and Rev W W Pfautz a reading by Charles Lowe and an address by J W Pressly D D Omaha.

Twenty three ladies attended the opening meeting in the new church basement on September 5. President Mrs Nida named committees for the banquet and rummage sale.
