School started Monday. Wheat price hit 1.05 last Saturday. Numerous visits between Steele City, Fairbury, Lincoln, and Washington noted. A nine pound girl born to Mr. and Mrs. Homer Yeakle. Ford added to local cars. weather and rainfall discussed. cornets and church events planned. warehouse accident caused wheat loss. many residents appear in multiple social notes.
A reader from Florence Rockfield credits Harberlain's Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy with easing a long illness many years ago. The note states a single dose alleviated the trouble and recommends the medicine to all dealers.
