Cornerstone Ceremony for New School Held on Pleasant Day
A large crowd gathered Wednesday for the cornerstone laying of the new schoolhouse. The event featured songs, an invocation by Rev H B Allen, and talks by State Supt James E Delzell County Supt Harris and Omaha architect W F Gernandt. The cornerstone box included ballots from the voting on bonds, enrollment and teacher lists, copies of The Press, coins and other items.
