First and second grades practice a Friday tooth-brush drill. Mrs E James toured downstairs and upstairs last week. Thanksgiving vacation for Steele City is two days. Only one tardiness in the second grade in six weeks. Parents ask for later school start after 8 30. Rooters visited Diller Friday to support home teams. Vocational class received training benches for double work. Projects include ironing boards sleeve boards towel racks ladders wagon jack and nail box. Visitors welcome at the shop. First team beat Diller 17 to 1% at Diller with Barber and Luhm top players. second boys also played.
The B B K s gathered November 18 at the Woods home east of town to mark the Ken sington group’s tenth anniversary. Ninety members attended, with many former members present. Music accompanied a social evening followed by a two course luncheon of bread and butter sandwiches fried chicken pickles cake fruit and coffee.
