Fairbury High seniors enjoy party despite breakdowns
Last Friday evening the Fairbury High School Senior class at Miss Esther Bryant’s home had about half the class present with fifteen arriving by motor and nine in cars. A car broke down three miles from Fairbury but a passing auto rescued the group and a replacement car was hired. The event featured amusements and a two course luncheon. The following Misses attended: Ethel Walker Emma Harrington Elsie Yontz Gladys Mulkey Bessie Harless Marie Evans Anna Weaver Lulu Smith Fern Wary. Esther Bryant entertained guests again Saturday at Rupert Andrews’ home with games and refreshments and the party praised Andrews as a delightful host. Bryant’s group rode to Steele City for an auto tour Sunday morning with W. H. Barber and returned to Fairbury in the afternoon, with all agreeing Steele City a fine place for fun.

M B Church Notes Supper Draws Small Profit
The Ladies Aid Society supper at Clapp's hall last Friday evening raised $29.66. Rev. A B Shepard attended a ministerial meeting at Fairbury Wednesday. Sunday school at 10 a m. Services alternate Sundays at 11 a m and 7 30 p m. Prayer meeting Thursdays at 7 30 p m. Pastor A B Shepard.
